We’ve been watching the unfolding train wreck that is Adobe Flash for the last week or so. It has become apparent that Flash is simply too dangerous to allow it to run on your computer. At this point, we strongly recommend that you uninstall Flash on your computer. For more information, see the US CERT notice that came out yesterday.
Thanks for the note on Flash. Wouldn’t have known otherwise.
We run Mozilla Firefox and they’ve been blocking Adobe Flash for a while now. They are also saying it’s a dangerous outdated system and are trying to get them to voluntarily end their program so that other developers better programs can become more mainstream (like that’s going to happen).
I have 2 Adobe Flash Programs installed on my computer:
Adobe Flash 10 Active X – 10-6-2009
Adobe Flash 11 Plugin – 6-14-2013.
Should both of these programs be uninstalled?
What kind of problems could I expect with Adobe Flash?
What could I substitute for them?
Thank you for your help.
